About the Event
Are you wanting to enliven your creativity?
Do you want to connect in a deeper way to yourself and others?
Are you feeling restricted or blocked in your expression?
Moving Connections is a place to discover and soften your edges. A space to learn and listen deeply, to interact in other creative ways with yourself and others, to come into the collective field of play and possibility.
This is a community-building practice where we use our own bodies, lives and stories as the material by which we sculpt and play with. Using our selves constructively, creatively and with courage, we can go beyond social masks or self-imposed limitations and move into a sense of shared connection, where our authentic expression lies.
In this weekly 2-hour class, Georgia Shine sensitively guides the group into creative cohesion with her background in the Alexander Technique, creative performance, musical training and years of experience as an improvised dancer. There will be a mixture of live and recorded music, as well as silence and guided vocalisation. Please bring a notepad and pen.
There is no previous dance or music experience required, just curiosity and willingness to discover what is already there.
Move, express, sing and tell your story. We work with the material of what is alive in you!
"Incredible! There aren’t words to express the depth or value of what I walk away with each time I experience a Moving Connections session." - Pauline Pearse
